Heather Wagner: Bio

Heather Wagner

Heather was born in Corpus Christi, TX in July of 1979. Two weeks later, Dwight and Barbara Cummings adopted her and the new family made their way to Wichita Falls in north central Texas.
At three, Heather sang her first solo at Central Christian Church. She continued to sing at church, and in school ,but didn't realized that music was her forte until junior high. Heather began writing her own music as a freshman at Rider High School. Each summer she sang with SALTeens from Dallas Christian College and toured much of the southeast and north up to Colorado singing and acting. During the school year , Heather sang The Texas Gold Show at the Wichita Theatre, and at other venues and shows as well. After graduation, she went to college on a music scholarship working on a degree in music education.
In 1998 Heather and James were married and they moved overseas to Spangdahlem Air Force Base, Germany. The next year brought a move back to the states and in 1999, Heather hung up the mic and started singing her new daughter to sleep. The next several years would bring 2 more moves and two baby boys. Music was on the backburner and except for singing at church, Heather stayed out of the spotlight quietly writing music at home. The 28 year old military wife and mother of 3 is currently writing music at home for others in the industry as well as working on a new full length project for her fans to enjoy.
